Does Working At Home Save You Money?
Does a work at home job save you money or not? This is the dilemma that many people have when deciding if having a home based business is right for them. Will a home based business set you free and allow you to have more money, or will it be hard to make ends meet?
Owning a home based business and working at home actually saves you money. When you think about it, having a job outside the home has many expenses associated with it. For instance, imagine how much more money you would have if you didn't have to pay for childcare or eating lunch out every day. Working at home could save you a lot of money with your car. The wear and tear of commuting on your car would be a thing of the past with a home based business. You could save money on your car insurance and delete these pesky parking and toll fees from your life working at home.
Other work-related expenses such as office parties or gifts for co-workers would be in the past with a home based business. Working at home means you wouldn't have to buy or dry-clean expensive office clothing. With a home based business, you can work in your most comfortable jeans and bare feet if you so desire. Having a home based business would allow you to choose other options for the money you spend on having an outside job as opposed to working at home.
Even if you make less money with a home based business, you will still have more money in your pocket by saving
on those many expenses related to working outside the home. It may even put you in a lower tax bracket, which can save you plenty at tax time. Many of the expenses associated with working at home and having a home based business can be deducted.
So owning a home based business actually makes very good money sense. Working at home offers you plenty of opportunities to save money you have been spending on your outside job and gives you the chance to do what you really want to-work at home on your own home based business.
